Purpose of the Role
The Director of Communications and Digital Engagement will spearhead Operation Twelve’s public relations and social media strategies to enhance our mission’s visibility and impact. This role involves managing media relations, developing comprehensive PR strategies, and leading dynamic social media campaigns to engage with our global audience effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative public relations strategies that align with our mission and values.
- Manage all aspects of media relations, including press releases, liaising with media, and public statements.
- Lead and oversee social media campaigns, ensuring consistent and impactful presence across various platforms.
- Collaborate with internal teams to accurately communicate our research findings, initiatives, and stories.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies and adjust plans as needed to maximize engagement.
Requirements
- Prior experience in public relations or social media management.
- Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of media operations and social media platforms.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
- Ability to work remotely and coordinate with a global team.
